To actively promote the green and low-carbon transition of energy in Gaochun District and accelerate the establishment of a new power system, as well as better cope with potential power supply shortages, the District Power Supply Company, in conjunction with the Development and Reform Commission, held a special promotion event for distributed energy storage on the afternoon of April 28 at Nanjing Skysource Power Technology Co., Ltd. The event attracted representatives from over 30 enterprises in the district.

The distributed energy storage promotion event began with a forum and exchange session. During the meeting, Song Zhangkun, the head of the Energy Department of the District Development and Reform Commission, delivered a speech. He pointed out that after the pandemic, the economy is recovering rapidly, with large-scale investment attraction and major projects progressively coming online, leading to a rapid increase in electricity demand. He emphasized that promoting distributed energy storage is key to enhancing the energy supply capacity for enterprises. He hopes that all eligible enterprise users in the district will follow the principle of "as much as possible and fully equipped" to install new energy storage solutions, achieving a win-win situation of stable power supply and economic growth.

At the meeting, Jiang Bing, the deputy general manager of the district power supply company, delivered a speech emphasizing that promoting distributed energy storage to ensure energy supply for enterprises is an important measure to achieve "increasing load without increasing electricity consumption." He encouraged enterprises within the district to install as much as possible.

At the seminar, Nanjing Skysource Power Technology Co., Ltd. and State Grid Jiangsu Comprehensive Energy Service Co., Ltd. presented their respective energy storage solutions, providing attendees with an in-depth understanding of the advantages of energy storage.

After the discussion, participants visited the production workshop of Nanjing Skysource Power Technology Co., Ltd. and the distributed energy storage demonstration project. There was thorough communication and discussion on product performance characteristics as well as the related questions and needs concerning enterprise energy storage.

The 100kW/225kWh distributed energy storage integrated cabinet system developed and manufactured by Skysource Power utilizes off-peak charging and peak discharging, enabling two charge and discharge cycles each day to meet the technical requirements for peak shaving and valley filling. The system’s UPS and isolation system can also operate in off-grid mode. Based on calculations, the annual peak and valley arbitrage profit from the 225kWh energy storage integrated cabinet is projected to reach 89,500 yuan.

Additionally, the Skysource energy storage integrated cabinet features a modular design that allows for flexible parallel grouping. It meets an IP54 protection rating, eliminating the need for waterproof platforms and construction work. It supports up to 6,000 charge cycles, with an overall system lifespan of up to 10 years. The compact size accommodates various application scenarios, and it is plug-and-play, allowing for rapid deployment with cloud-based operation and maintenance-free use. The battery packs used in the Skysource energy storage integrated cabinet can seamlessly switch in parallel with the power system battery packs, enhancing the utilization of power batteries and maximizing product usage while reducing costs.
